SDS Presents: The Battle of Algiers

We're kicking off our month of protesting the war of Iraq with The Battle of Algiers, a classic 1966 film which documents the Algerian people's heroic battle against the French colonialism. Following the film we will discuss the parallels to the U.S. occupation of Iraq and what we can do to stop the war.

Teach-in: Shut Down the SOA!

We will screen "Guns and Greed," a short film that brings to light some of the atrocities committed by SOA-graduates and the movement to close the School of the Americas. Students and local activists who have been to Venezuela and Colombia will lead a discussion after the film.
SDS and IVAW present: The Ground Truth
