We will screen "Guns and Greed," a short film that brings to light some of the atrocities committed by SOA-graduates and the movement to close the School of the Americas. Students and local activists who have been to Venezuela and Colombia will lead a discussion after the film.

How about the
Atrocities committed by communist guerillas or the destruction of freedom in Venezuela?
If you protest in Cuba what happens to you. How about the torture and death of innocent and helpless people, young and old, that the tyrants you support and give conmfort to are responsible for. How blind and stupid are you?
The Revolution
You have to break eggs to makae an omlet right? So what is wrong with the deaths of those who oppose the true democracy of the people? Chavez and Castro have it right, the U.S. is just a big tyrant and is responsible for the bad economics in Cuba. Chavez has tpo get those people out of the way so he can fight the U.S. and establish true democracy, not the crap we have here.
Chavez has been
Chavez has been democratically elected by a margin far greater than Bush, in two elections based on issues rather than the crap they base in on in this pathetic "democracy."
Chavez
Rigged the elections and jailed or intimidated his competition. If you read the newspapers you might know that. I'm sure that you would be welcomed by Mr. Chavez. But be careful you don't even hint that you might say something about his government that you did about your current one. It would be painful for you, possibly deadly.
Oh, by the way, the United States is still a Republic based on democratic principles, not a "Democracy."
